Dr Alan Lindsay Sanderson M.B., B.S. (London), M.R.C.P., D.P.M., M.R.C. Psych.

Dr Alan Sanderson is a consultant psychiatrist, hypnotherapist and spirit-release therapist. Returning to clinical practice in 1990, after years of personality research, he found psychiatry still stuck in the pharmacological morass.

Spirit release, as pioneered by American psychologists Edith Fiore and Bill Baldwin proved very effective and to someone trained in the bio-medical tradition, was an amazing revelation. He introduced ‘spirit release’, not without controversy, to the treatment of NHS patients at Fairfield Hospital.

Leaving the NHS in 1997, he founded the Spirit Release Foundation in 1999 with the aim of bringing professional acceptance to ’spirit release’ and related treatments. He stepped down from being Chairman of in 2004.

He is the author of many articles and lectures widely on the theme of spirit attachment and spirit release.
